Resolving Cracks and Gaps on a Home in McKinney Using Concrete Pressed Pilings

One of the things homeowners have to take into account is that after about 15 years or so, issues with the home are likely to come up and repairs will be needed. Specifically if cracks start to appear around your home, it probably has a deeper cause.

It’s not something to cause intense worry about, but you should also not ignore it and wait for a more drastic damage. Besides, it would make your home much stronger and safer in the long run if you have the issues resolved as soon as they come up.

Take it from a homeowner in McKinney… They noticed cracks appearing on the left side of the house. We’ve repaired a small section of their home before, so they called us to take a look at it.

Concrete Pressed Pilings Installation in McKinney

Upon further inspection, we found out that the left side of the house from the front corner to the back needed to be lifted and stabilized. In addition, we have to re-repair the area we worked on before.

We installed 13 concrete pressed pilings, which we also call our PT2 system, along the left side of the house. We also adjusted 3 of the existing piers we previously installed.

Here’s one of the cracks before and after we did our PT2 installation…

As a result, the areas of the house where the foundation settled a bit are lifted and stabilized again. This home has been up for about 18 years. No doubt that with the homeowners’ quick action and the help of the new piers, they can enjoy their home for much longer.

It’s always a pleasure to work with our previous clients and make sure that their homes are strong and safe for their family. Our client for this project was very happy with our work that they left us this feedback…
