Foundation Repair in Fort Worth for a Safer Home

From years of experience, cracks are more often than not the first and most obvious signs of foundation problems in your home.

In our client’s home in Fort Worth, cracks on the exterior walls started to appear because the foundation on the front part of the house was settling deeper into the ground. A tree in front of the home is also most likely the culprit for this.

It meant that the walls were leaning forward toward that portion, causing the cracks to open up. They called us to implement foundation repairs needed…

Steel Pier Installation in Fort Worth

We had to install 13 steel piers, or what we call our PT3 system, under the front perimeter of the house. This will lift this part of the house to be more aligned with the back.

It will also stabilize the home and prevent further settling from happening in the future. Steel piers are a more secure solution than concrete piers and will likely make sure the homeowners won’t encounter the same problems again in the future.

Had they not gotten this fixed this time, they would’ve risked further structural damage to the house. That means as long as the cracks and foundation issues are not solved, their family would’ve been unsafe in this home.

But good enough, as we lifted the front portion of the home, the cracks closed. The piers will prevent future damage, and our client can rest easy knowing they have a safe home for their family.
