We installed piers around this particular corner of the house to lift and stabilize it. However, we figured it wouldn’t be enough because based on the measurement, the damage patterns penetrated far into the home and interior piers would need to be installed.
Apart from having the floors be taken up and putting up floor and door protection and plastic to protect our client’s furniture, we didn’t encounter many drawbacks on this project.
When we were done, the issues were resolved. Prominently, the doors closed much more seamlessly.
