Leslie in Ennis was getting scared that her house was falling a part soon after they purchased it. While she was correct that it was, she had no reason to worry with PermaTech on the case!
After a very thorough inspection we sat down with Leslie and her husband to discuss what was currently happening to her house and the best way to approach repairing the problem.
We believed that the exceptionally large tree to the left of their property had roots that were penetrating the through the supporting clay of the foundation, causing it to shrink at a different rate that other areas. This differential was what was causing the damage around the house.
After installing piers around the affected area, we lifted the house back into place. This lifting process was able to close many of the cracks and allow doors to work that were previously stuck.
