While strength and stability are our main focus in doing any foundation work, we don’t skimp on keeping our client’s home aesthetic after we’re done. It’s important to us that you can go back to your normal home routine and lifestyle without doing any extra cleanup after we leave.
In our recent project for a homeowner in Carrollton, we had to install our PT3 piers, which required breaking out concrete and patching them up both inside and outside the house. Read on to find out how we were able to do so without ruining the aesthetic in our client’s home…
Installing 17 Steel Piers in Carrollton
Due to the ice storm at the beginning of the year, our client in Carrollton unfortunately had to deal with a leak that resulted in needing remodeling work done inside the house.
They knew they were also experiencing some foundation problems, so they called us to get the necessary work done now before they pushed through with all the other remodeling projects. Our foundation repair will also lay the foundation for the remodeling work and our client could prevent more problems in the future.
We discovered that the foundation is settling down towards the back and it’s already significantly affecting the inside of the house.
This requires installing 17 steel piers from our PT3 system inside and outside the house – 10 of which required breaking down concrete and patching them back up.
Some areas we installed piers in had an exposed aggregate concrete finish, so we made sure to keep the look consistent by matching it as best as we could when we were done with no extra charge.
Now they don’t have to worry about the exterior as kept everything relatively clean, and the interiors are now all ready for remodeling.
