For this home in Flower Mound, we worked with a previous client who had their home’s foundation problems in McKinney fixed. They sold that house and are now moving into this new home. They were aware of the foundation issues here, but they entrusted us again to do the work needed before they moved in.

We found out that the slab was out of level by almost 6 inches from corner to corner. When we took out the flooring and tried to lift the home, we also discovered that the home had been added onto several times over the years and it wasn’t documented.
We had to install 43 concrete pressed pilings, or our trusted PT2 system, almost all over the entire house.
But for one area inside, we had to cut out a large portion of the slab and repour it.
In another area, there was an unknown addition, which meant more work is required to level the house evenly. Upon discussing with the homeowner and engineer, they decided they would go in after we were done and float the floor to level the room. So instead, we installed piers in a way that would stabilize that specific part of the home.
This ensured that they would get to have a level floor within their budget. Overall, we were able to finish the work in 7 days within 2 weeks.
